Ammons trial rescheduled for after veto session

The jury trial is now tentatively set to begin on Dec. 7 in Courtroom I at the federal courthouse in Springfield.
[Federal Judge Colleen Lawless] directed all parties to file a motion to continue or for a pretrial or status conference at least 14 days before the current trial date. […]
The trial had previously been set to begin Nov. 17, which is the last day to count provisional ballots cast on Election Day as well as ballots sent through the mail.
The new trial date is four days after lawmakers are scheduled to wrap up veto session.
