Tomorrow Friday from 3 PM to midnight WQNA will attempt a test broadcast in Springfield on 95.7 FM for the car cruisers who will be in town. For the Route 66 Festival they will be playing the best of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. I got a text yesterday at 4 o’clock they were getting a mono signal Christian broadcast which was apparently a system test for tomorrow’s broadcast. This is not the beginning of continuous broadcast but it is part of testing equipment and getting things calibrated.

Given the Beatificationpalooza in STL would have thought you lead with some snappy Saint song. But it was early.
