* Comptroller and Chicago mayoral candidate Susana Mendoza…
Just checked with the constituent who lives in front of this pothole at 8550 S Kilbourne and it’s still not fixed. He reported it at least 2 months ago. https://t.co/x5Hk8osLdQ

Comptroller Mendoza dug quite a hole for herself in 2019 when the feds descended on Ald. Burke’s office and it came out she’d been married at his house.
I know this is mostly just a fun campaign stunt/joke, but I still gotta’ say that isn’t a pothole. It is probably a water or sewer main (pipe) cave in. Fixing it requires replacing that part of the main, and that can take a few months. However, the City should set up a construction barrier around it as it is just going to get worse and is a legit danger.
So for a fun caption I’ll say: The Illinois Comptroller sinks even more into the state’s debt.
