Bailey’s conspiracy theory gets a ‘No’ from Pritzker
Monday, Nov 2, 2026 - Posted by Isabel Miller * How Darren Bailey is spending election eve…
The above clip is more than a year old. The governors were discussing Trump’s immigration raids and National Guard deployments. * Bailey is actually referring to recordings circulated by Jennica Pounds, aka “DataRepublican,” a right-wing MAGA influencer (Click here and here for more about Pounds). Bailey posted about the recordings a couple weeks ago…
In the recording circulated by Pounds, a speaker identified as former State Department official John Mongan claims he shared a memo with Illinois outlining how governors could assume government functions during a federal legitimacy crisis. He claims Illinois was interested if another state took the lead. Another participant says it went to Governors Safeguarding Democracy, which Pritzker co-chairs. * I asked Gov. JB Pritzker last week whether he or his administration had received the memo in question…

I wish Democrats were as cool as Republicans pretend they are.

If I didn’t know better, I’d accuse Bailey of having serious money on Pritzker by 13 points.
But he’s not that bright.

Rich, can we have a “What will Darren Bailey” do next contest? I hear there may be a lot of opportunities in the Administration after election day.

It’s going to be a long, long, road back for the ILGOP.

Maybe the Governor should do his part and refrain from irresponsible conspiracy theories like from Meet the Press this weekend
if the Democrats don’t win this election we will never have elections in the future and if we do they will be rigged

Facepalm as I bemoan how crazy my former party has become.

Future students of history will study this current period intensely…only to succumb to total bewilderment…after sifting through mountains of deep fakes…reams of propaganda and purposeful mis/dis-information…the tiny kernels of truth they accidentally discover will only serve to confound them that much further.

=Maybe the Governor should do his part and refrain from irresponsible conspiracy theories like from Meet the Press this weekend=
The Governor is merely acknowledging what we all see happening in front of our own eyes.

“Maybe the Governor should do his part and refrain from irresponsible conspiracy theories”
Because J.B. Pritzker is the only credible pol that has issued a warning on this “conspiracy theory.”
Because there have been no credible retired military officials who have issued a warning on this “conspiracy theory.”

Please GOP stop this. No wonder the GOP keeps losing elections in Illinois. Are there any sane, responsible, and responsive to people’s needs members left in the state GOP?

This is the best and brightest the ILGOP has in 2026?
