Twenty-third voter in my Quincy precinct. Rainy here. Sales tax question for the county school districts. I’m doubt it will move the needle on turnout.
I voted already in Springfield. I was asked to show my ID because my signature did not exactly match the signature they had in their records. Whiskey tango foxtrot, do these people not know that signatures can change over time? Heck, they can change over the course of a few minutes, as anyone who has ever signed a stack of traveler’s checks can attest.
They let me vote, but I told them it was the first time I’d ever been asked to show my ID when voting.
Springfield on the westside PC. One of the five judges for my precinct was a no show. The Clerks Office sent another one out to the polling place. Several new judges this year.
