The dynamic of the whole show has had to move forward, but I think the core principles of the show; farce, comedy, Easter eggs, and pure fun are what drives this ensemble. Making it have greater context besides what the slow was would really take away production value and the show could lose its audience. I’m not saying a spin-off might be in the works, or even adding a couple really great new character to “DHS”, but moving away from what HBO has asked, and really wants, which is exactly what this show wants to produce, it’s safe to say “DHS” isn’t going anywhere abd will be true to its beginnings.
