Andrea Raila does appeals with Berrios office - is it possible Berrios wants her in the race to split the white progressive vote?
Probably not because she’s a woman but worth thinking about.

Scott Kennedy’s feed and the knowledge he drops and the context added to what seems to be just another transaction is why I continually check that Twitter.
Great stuff, but keeping up, that’s the tough part. Great stuff always.

Truer words have never been spoken than the ones in this headline. That being said, Kennedy is the Rain Man of political calculations.

Interesting thought: with the latest $7 million Pritzker has now added $28.2 million to his campaign fund. He hasn’t spent it all yet, in fact since he just added this latest $7 million he’s probably got a way to go before he spends what’s already there but in 2004 Blair Hull spent about $29 million in the Democratic primary for US Senate, what I believe is the Illinois record for a primary. If Pritzker spends what he currently has on hand and then just a little more, which seems likely given the current trajectory, he could break that record.
