House adjourns without further mask drama
Friday, Feb 18, 2022 - Posted by Rich Miller * The House adjourned this morning until Tuesday before taking any votes, so no mask drama today. Three of the members ejected from the floor yesterday were given excused absences today: Reps. David Friess, Blaine Wilhour and Joe Sosnowski.

I’m surprised they didn’t make the call Wednesday to adjourn the rest of the week, so everyone could get home that night before the storm hit (even though far northern and far southern IL didn’t get the winter stuff).

Per diem is not paid when a Legislator is not present for session. When delivering the low blow, at least know what you are talking about. . . . . . .
