If spent wisely and also a Trump endorsement, this could be a wild finish.

This is starting to feel like Randolph and Mortimer from Trading Places. Can’t wait to see if Uihlein or Griffin wins the dollar bet.

If this could wind up a two-person race, if at some point Sullivan and Rabine drop out and support Bailey, that would be very interesting. The patriots have to act wisely, so that the Trumpy Bailey vote is not split, like in the PA Senate primary, but rather have an outcome like the PA governor, where the Trumpy guy won easily against one opponent.
Uihlein is seriously overpaying for strategic yard sign placement

I don’t see anyone dropping out at this point. Sullivan will just head back to California and Rabine will return to running his business. I doubt that either cares much who gets the nomination other than themselves.
Darren Bailey will “win” by disrupting the order of things as Jeanne Ives did to Bruce Rauner. And for folks like Uihlein purity is very important. I don’t see their supporters coming around to Richard Irvin particularly since I expect him to move toward the center.
One could make an argument that every dollar Bailey uses to fortify who he is or tries to tear down another is a dollar “down payment” to unelectability to either Bailey himself or another.
One race at a time, I typed that often, that is the truth to this, but the means now in this last month to win also set a table because the hardened Right rarely slows a move to a Center, and that base, like with Ives, may stay home… if *they* lose.
Shouldn’t the billionaires debate one another…minus their paid in full mouthpieces?

Dotnonymous: THAT would be interesting, but likely we’d hear the same palaver the paid mouthpieces….err, candidates would say, and I’mm not sure it would make any difference in the end.

Figure the P to E that Griff is getting on Irvin, Uihlein’s got himself a bargain.

Yeah, but Griffin has an entire slate to fund.

why can’t we have the Wisconsin Uihleins……

If spent well, that’s more than enough for Bailey to win. But his track record of spending money is LOL.

Was this a PPE loan to Bailey? Uihlein is wasting his money. There is no hope for Bailey beyond the primary.
