Figure the P to E that Griff is getting on Irvin, Uihlein’s got himself a bargain.

===Figure the P to E that Griff is getting on Irvin===

Yeah, but Griffin has an entire slate to fund.

  3. - amalia - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 9:46 am:

why can’t we have the Wisconsin Uihleins……

  4. - Arsenal - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 9:49 am:

If spent well, that’s more than enough for Bailey to win. But his track record of spending money is LOL.

  5. - Red Ketcher - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:00 am:

Have never forgiven the Uihleins for destroying Schlitz

  6. - Baloneymous - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:00 am:

If spent wisely and also a Trump endorsement, this could be a wild finish.

  7. - Concerned Dem - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:05 am:

This is starting to feel like Randolph and Mortimer from Trading Places. Can’t wait to see if Uihlein or Griffin wins the dollar bet.

  8. - Grandson of Man - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:10 am:

If this could wind up a two-person race, if at some point Sullivan and Rabine drop out and support Bailey, that would be very interesting. The patriots have to act wisely, so that the Trumpy Bailey vote is not split, like in the PA Senate primary, but rather have an outcome like the PA governor, where the Trumpy guy won easily against one opponent.

  9. - HowBoutDat - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:19 am:

Uihlein is seriously overpaying for strategic yard sign placement

  10. - Friendly Bob Adams - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:30 am:

I don’t see anyone dropping out at this point. Sullivan will just head back to California and Rabine will return to running his business. I doubt that either cares much who gets the nomination other than themselves.

  11. - JS Mill - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 10:52 am:

Was this a PPE loan to Bailey? Uihlein is wasting his money. There is no hope for Bailey beyond the primary.

  12. - Pundent - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 11:00 am:

=There is no hope for Bailey beyond the primary.=

Darren Bailey will “win” by disrupting the order of things as Jeanne Ives did to Bruce Rauner. And for folks like Uihlein purity is very important. I don’t see their supporters coming around to Richard Irvin particularly since I expect him to move toward the center.

  13. - Skeptic - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 11:25 am:

If spent well, it could pay off a whole lot of student loans, or buy groceries or fund programs of at-risk youth or …

  14. - Oswego Willy - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 11:37 am:

One could make an argument that every dollar Bailey uses to fortify who he is or tries to tear down another is a dollar “down payment” to unelectability to either Bailey himself or another.

One race at a time, I typed that often, that is the truth to this, but the means now in this last month to win also set a table because the hardened Right rarely slows a move to a Center, and that base, like with Ives, may stay home… if *they* lose.

  15. - Dotnonymous - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 12:45 pm:

Shouldn’t the billionaires debate one another…minus their paid in full mouthpieces?

  16. - thisjustinagain - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 1:06 pm:

Dotnonymous: THAT would be interesting, but likely we’d hear the same palaver the paid mouthpieces….err, candidates would say, and I’mm not sure it would make any difference in the end.

  17. - Occasionally Moderated - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 1:11 pm:

If only the billionaires could unite.

  18. - Bruce( no not him) - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 2:08 pm:

Do other states have these billionaire battles?
    Or are we just “blessed”?

Did Dan Proft’s PAC, People Who Get Played For Fools, earn any more cash from Kenosha?

  20. - NoOneOfConsequence - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 3:47 pm:

If memory serves, the Ricketts family dabbled in politics in their home state of Nebraska….

  21. - Rich Miller - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 3:48 pm:

===earn any more cash from Kenosha? ===

    Not since last week.

  22. - Proud Papa Bear - Wednesday, Jun 1, 22 @ 4:16 pm:

    @Concerned Dem
I was trying to put my finger on this race. You nailed it perfectly.
