“Another dry Spring and dust clouds as they work the fields.”
Driving to STL yesterday afternoon, in the exact same area around the Divernon exit where the pile up on I 55 occurred, huge clouds of dust rolling across the highway from tractors working the fields.
I really wasn’t prepared for the 82°F temps yesterday afternoon! I had to do my first lawn mow of the year along and it was so hot. I really wish that spring would last longer than a couple weeks but I guess that’s what I should expect from the weather in northeastern Illinois.
As far as I can tell the worst 162 game season was the 2003 Tigers at 43-119, and I don’t have faith this White Sox team can win 43 games.

Put on that song by Kobanova that closed out the day on Cap Fax on Friday.
Really interesting and talented group.

Protesters shutting down a highway and causing major headaches for many trying to get to the airport this morning in Chicago is really going to win converts to the Palestinian cause. /s

Saw similar clouds while on I-74/72 driving back from Purdue. Had flashbacks to when I-72 between Springfield and Decatur was shut down back in 2017.

Brother, that has been my theory for years for any entity that shuts down traffic or severely hinders people just trying to pay the bills or get on with their lives. You probably lose support or at the very least make someone switch from being neutral or being opposed ti your cause.

What’s going on at O’Hare Airport??

White Sox continue losing. They might be the worst run franchise of any of the 4 major sports leagues. Just say no to a new stadium.
