The Bears O line is definitely a problem, but Williams did not seem to be making good decisions even when he had more time. And as the saying goes, everyone is bigger, faster and stronger in the NFL.
Investing in offensive playmakers, as the Bears did, is meaningless if your quarterback has no protection and game experience at NFL speed. The best quarterbacks have solid lines in front of them. Williams does not. And treating him like a veteran, not providing enough pre-season game reps, is on the GM and coaching staff. He looks unprepared and overwhelmed.
The more the Bears change the names, the more the O-line stays the same. And the team is on their way to wrecking Williams the same way the wrecked previous QB’s.
Beautiful day in the 217. Got a paddle in on Lake Springfield and enjoying a Sapori Detroit style slice. Bears D looked good. Let’s get that O line up to speed.

It appears the Curse of the McCaskey’s reasserted itself last nite. Probably a setback for the domed lakefront stadium scheme

“Justin Fields 2-0″ Maybe so, but he has yet to pass for 200 yards with the Steelers.
