HB 799 is dead. HB 4537 is the property tax sale reform bill and passed both chambers as of tonight.

Can’t help but wonder how much didn’t or won’t get done this session because our legislative leaders didn’t give our legislature enough time to do it in.

With all due respect, they have had 150 days to get their acts together. If it wasn’t ready by now, it ain’t ready. With that said, dropping 3K plus pages of new language on May 30th is absolutely classic Illinois.
