Napoleon Harris poll shows Duckworth with gigantic lead
Friday, Feb 19, 2016 - Posted by Rich Miller * Why the heck would he release this?…
Technically a path? He’s at 3 percent in his own poll. Hilarious. The full poll is here. Harris even released the results of negative push questions on himself. For instance, 65 percent said they’d be less likely to support a candidate who did not support gay marriage. And 84 percent said they’d be less likely to support a candidate “who has been accused of underpaying their employees.” Oof. That “path” looks awful tiny to me. * According to the poll, voters are gonna stick with Duckworth…
* Favorables… Obama’s favorables are still huge among Democrats here, Rahm’s aren’t as bad as I thought they’d be and Harris and Zopp are almost non-entities. * Presidential…
* We don’t usually get full polls like this, so let’s look at some other things…
The responses… Illinois Democratic voters apparently say they want strong leaders who can bring people together. And they’re not much interested in state legislators, “outsiders” and those who own multiple businesses. Gee, I wonder why? /snark * And…
Again, the state’s Democratic voters want people who aren’t afraid to compromise, aren’t anti-business but aren’t in the pockets of the business lobby.
